Saudi Arabia // 23 June, 2020

Hajj will be "very limited" this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Authorities have announced that people of different nationalities living in the kingdom will only be allowed to participate to ensure everyone’s safety. Saudi Arabia has reported one of the highest numbers of COVID-19 infections in the Middle East. Hajj begins in late July and more than two million people attend the pilgrimage every year.
