Increase in COVID-19 infections in travellers from Africa

Several European countries have recorded a rise in COVID-19 infections in people who had travelled to Africa. The International Society for Infectious Diseases reports "In France, the number of daily cases has started to rise again, and more than half of the cases hospitalized in ICUs during the past days in the Paris area are travel-associated, mainly returning from Africa." Through its network of clinics treating travellers, they have identified infected travellers from Egypt, Ghana, Algeria, Maritania, Central African Republic.
