COVID-19 in Sao Tome and Principe

At least 484 cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed, including at least 12 deaths. For more information see the Ministry of Health's Facebook page.

1 June: At least 43 new cases have been reported including two deaths.

28 May: Additional cases reported, doubling the total cases since last update below. At least 40 health care workers have been affected. 

12 May: Testing continues, with more new cases reported. At least one healthcare worker has been infected. The government has instituted lock-down measures projected to end on 17 May.

7 May: More cases have been reported, bringing the total to over 170 cases.
