25 May: Four new cases, all in returnees from Malaysia, India and Italy, have been recorded taking the taly to 203 cases.

21 May: At least eight new cases have been confirmed, all in returnees from the United Arab Emirates who arrived through a relief flight on 10 May. This takes the total number of cases to 199 cases.

18 May: At least ten more cases have been confirmed since the last update. New cases between 16-19 May have been reported in migrants returning from Malaysia. The first cases of COVID-19 have been reported on 18 May in Rakhine and Kayin states and in the Tanintharyi Region.

15 May: One additional case has been reported since the last update. Authorities have extended measures until the end of May but some restrictions have been relaxed. Masks have been implemented in public places especially in Yangon, Mandalay and Nay Pyi Taw.

11 May: The total number of cases reported as of today is 180. Fatalities remain the same.

4 May: An increase in ten cases have been reported in the last two days. The total numbers are at 161 cases and six deaths so far.

2 May: There are 151 cases with six deaths in the country. Yangon Region is reporting the highest number at 117 cases.
