COVID-19 in Mali

30 June: New cases continue to be reported. WHO is reporting that 432 people have recovered.

3 June: At least 50 new cases were recorded in a day. Overall, about 760 patients have recovered. The city of Bamako is the epicenter of the pandemic with 72 percent of confirmed cases.

25 May: A total of 1,059 cases and 65 deaths have been confirmed.

19 May: There has been an uptick in confirmed cases. The World Health Organization has reported community transmission is occurring in the country.

10 May: Additional cases reported taking the total to 704 cases and 28 deaths. At least nine regions and 24 health districts have reported cases.

5 May: Cases continue to be reported, bringing the total to exceed 500 cases.

23 April: A further 77 cases, including 4 deaths have been recorded in the past 5 days bringing the total of COVID-19 cases 293. Seven regions and sixteen health districts have been affected. A program has been launched “one Malian, one mask” with a special order for 20 million washable masks.

18 April: Further cases reported, for a total of 216 cases including 13 deaths. Of these 16 are imported and 41 people have recovered. Cases have been confirmed in six regions; Bamako (175 cases, 10 deaths), Koulikoro (19 cases), Kayes (13 cases, 3 deaths) Mopti (7 cases) and one case each in Gao and Sikasso.

14 April: Over 40 new cases reported since last week.

7 April: More cases have been reported in Mali, bringing the total number of cases to 39.
