COVID-19 in Ireland

Ireland // 20 November, 2020

At least 67,900 cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed, including 1,725 deaths. See the Irish Department of Health COVID-19 page.

Status: Decreasing

20 November: Ireland saw a second peak in late October. Since then the daily new cases reported has been on the decline. The country has now moved from 'Outbreak' to 'Decreasing' status.

20 October: New cases continue to be reported daily as the incidence increases across Europe. The past two days have seen record numbers reported since the beginning of the pandemic. Public health officials are reporting more than 1,000 active cases with Dublin and Cork being the most heavily affected. The country will be imposing new restrictions on 21 October.
