COVID-19 in Cape Verde

At least 2,373 cases and 23 deaths. Outbreak.

31 July: Cases have been steadily increasing throughout July and have reached 2,373 cases. Included are 23 deaths and over 1,600 recoveries. At least 40 healthcare workers have been infected.

27 June: Total tally has surpassed 1,000 cases.

16 June: Cases have more than doubled since our last update. As of 15 June Cape Verde had 760 confirmed cases, including 7 deaths and 354 recoveries.

15 May: The majority of cases are on the island of Santiago, which includes the capital city of Praia, which remains under a state of emergency. There are more than 50 cases in Boa Vista and few in Sao Vicente.
