Status: Increasing Activity

24 September: Additional cases confirmed with an increase of 24 percent in the last week. 

17 September: An increase in 76 percent in cases was reported last week. At least 1,332 people have recovered. Angola has moved out of Decreasing Activity category and into Increasing Activity.

10 September: A 32 percent increase in cases was reported, less compared to last week. More than 1,200 cases have recovered. Angola has moved out of Outbreak category and into Decreasing Activity.

2 September: An increase in 41 percent was reported last week taking the total tally of cases to 2,729 with 109 deaths.

26 August: The country has reported a 37 percent increase in cases in one week.

19 August: The country is reporting one of the highest case fatality ratio among the African nations at 4.6 percent.

12 August: Increase in cases continue to be noted. More than 48,200 samples have been tested and at least 575 patients have recovered.

5 August: More cases reported since the last update. At least 520 cases have recovered.
