COVID-19 in Liberia

At least 768 cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed, including 34 deaths.

30 June: New cases continue to be reported. WHO reports that 298 cases have recovered.

20 May: There have been 229 confirmed cases reported to the World Health Organization, however, according to the UN Dispatch (United Nations News & Commentary) "the actual case count is likely far higher". "Even though Liberia (and Liberians) took relatively swift action to contain COVID019, the situation is extremely tenuous at the moment." The country is classified as having "community transmission" by the World Health Organization. 

28 April:More cases have been reported, bringing the total to exceed 100 cases.

14 April: The total number of cases has reached 50.

7 April: More cases have been reported in Liberia.

20 March: According to WHO report, two cases have been detected in Liberia. The country has detected local transmission as well.

18 March: Media sources have reported two cases of COVID-19 in Liberia. More details awaited.
