9 May: News media report that so far 610,074 have been fully vaccinated, while another 1,476,779 people have received their first dose of vaccine.
23 February: Mongolia has launched its COVID-19 vaccination programme with the administration of its first batch of vaccine in frontline health care workers who are at high risk. An initial 150,000 doses of Oxford-AstraZeneca produced by the Serum Institute of India have been delivered, which have been approved by Mongolia's national regulatory authority. Other priority groups will be vaccinated as more doses arrive.
