Officials have launched the Vaccine Pass initiative with the aim to encourage people to get vaccinated and resume normal daily life. Starting from 24 February 2022 everyone aged 12 or above who "enter or are present at" catering premises, shopping malls, department stores, markets, supermarkets, and other areas required to have received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.
Additionally, people must wear a mask in all public places including parks, irrespective of they are engaging in physical activities or not. Taking masks off for eating and drinking will not be allowed on public transport. These measures will be in place until April 20.
