A majority of businesses support COVID-19 vaccination, and are using COVID-19 testing as part of their return to work practices. Back to the Workplace: Are we there yet? Key Insights from Employers One Year Into the Pandemic reports the findings of an online survey of over 1,300 businesses in at least 31 countries conducted during March 2021. The survey, conducted by Arizona State University, found "nearly 9 out of 10 employers in the United States and UK plan to encourage or require vaccination for employees and nearly 7 out of 10 are currently performing Covid-19 testing for their employees." Other key findings are the importance of mental health and wellbeing, most are contact tracing beyond the workplace, and that prior to the pandemic only about half of the organizations had plans for an epidemic or pandemic.
