China has announced the expansion of eligible categories of visa applications to enable resumption of cross border travel. Applicants in the expanded categories must have either received two doses of Chinese-made vaccines with the stipulated gap in-between, or received a single-dose Chinese-made vaccine at least 14 days prior to the application, and obtained the vaccination certificate. The requirement for double-negative certificates of nucleic acid and antibody (IgM) test results and the following of quarantine policies on arrival has not changed.
