Mpox infection detected, at-risk groups urged to receive vaccination

Hong Kong (China SAR) // 08 July, 2024

Health authorities have reported the detection of an mpox infection. The person first developed symptoms on 1 July. He is reported to have a recent history of "high-risk exposure" and no travel history during the incubation period.

Authorities appeal to anyone in high-risk target groups to receive the mpox vaccination. More information on vaccine access is available here.
