Malaria continues to occur in more than 80 countries, causing over 240 million infections each year. Despite being preventable, the World Health Organization estimates there were 2 million more cases of malaria globally in 2021 compared to 2020. In this podcast, International SOS's Regional Medical Director for the Americas, Dr Daniel Slaim, and Dr Mark Parrish, Regional Medical Director Pacific, Australia and New Zealand discuss the current situation, look to the future, and provide practical advice to reduce the risks to travellers and organisations. One bite is all it takes.
