The Ministry of Health in South Korea has announced that a local telephone helpline, set up to provide information on MERS to residents in South Korea, has been expanded to offer 19 languages. Since 6 June, it has offered advice in Korean and English and these have been augmented with: Arabic, Bengali, Burmese, Chinese, French, German, Indonesian, Japanese, Khmer, Mongolian, Nepali, Russian, Sinhala, Spanish, Tagalog, Thai and Vietnamese.
