A locally-acquired case has been confirmed. The case, 13th in Malaysia, involves a close contact - sister of a previously confirmed case. She is reported to be in a stable condition and in isolation under medical care.
The index case, termed as the 9th case by Malaysian authorities, attended a meeting at Singapore and was confirmed infected with 2019-nCoV on return to Malaysia. For more details on the meeting in Singapore, click here.
