First domestically created oral COVID-19 drug

Shionogi & Co Ltd, the pharmaceutical company that developed the COVID-19 drug, known as Ensitrelvir have announced that they have received emergency regulatory approval. It is the first domestically created oral COVID-19 drug for mild symptoms. Approximately a million doses will be sold to the government.
