The European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) have released a report looking at the disproportionate impact of Covid-19 pandemic on some migrant groups in the European Union and United Kingdom. Certain migrant groups experience low vaccine uptake and have difficulties accessing health and vaccination systems. The report looks at the health and social impact of Covid-19 on migrant populations, the risk factors and vulnerabilities within those populations and the factors to be considered in order to ensure equal access to the vaccine rollout, based on lessons learned from previous experience.
