Dr who diagnosed Nigeria's first case of COVID-19 describes her experience of quarantine

Dr Amara Allison diagnosed Nigeria's first case of COVID-19. The patient presented with flu-like symptoms and she advised he needed to be isolated immediately, he subsequently tested positive for the virus. Dr Allison, four healthcare workers and 35 contacts of the patient were placed in quarantine for 14 days. Dr Allison describes her experience of being quarantined in a WHO report. She emphasized that a good support system and maintaining a positive outlook are both important when dealing with a period of quarantine.
