Status: Decreasing Activity
21 May: About 600 cases have been reported in the last 24 hours. The existing social distancing measures have also been extended for another three weeks starting from 24 May as clusters infections and variant cases are continuing to be reported. There is a nationwide ban on gatherings of five people or more.
14 May: The country has changed from "Increasing Activity" to "Decreasing Activity" status. Although a daily increase in cases has been reported there is an overall decrease in the total number of cases.
27 April: Daily cases of about 500 continue to be recorded. With more testing's these numbers are expected to rise further. There are reports of clusters and untraceable cases due to increase social activities in the warm weather. The Greater Seoul area is currently under level 2 social distancing and rest of the country at 1.5 level. These levels will continue to be effective till 2 May.
14 April: An increase in cases have been noted with about 500 cases reported daily. Media sources are reporting that authorities have re-imposed the closure of karaoke bars, nightclubs and other entertainment facilities. The bans is effective from Monday (12 April) for three weeks.
