11 June: Cases continue to sharply rise since late May. At total of 2,336 cases have been confirmed, of which 32 people have died and 379 have recovered. Infections in healthcare workers have been confirmed, with 87 infections reported.
28 May: There has been a sharp increase in case numbers. Health workers have not been affected as of 26 May.
12 May: At least 29 new cases were confirmed in the last 24 hours.
1 May: Ongoing cases reported, a total of 133 cases confirmed. Of these three people have died and 66 people have recovered. A State of Emergency declared on 8 April is set to last for 5 months. All public gatherings are banned, schools and universities closed. Strict travel restrictions between regions are in place.
21 April: Further cases have been confirmed, bringing the total to exceed 100 cases.
7 April: More cases have been reported in Ethiopia.
17 March: Three additional cases have been reported, resulting in a total of four confirmed cases in Ethiopia.
