PPE Head Cover

Head covers are part of higher level of protection (Extended PPE) required only when in contact with a suspected or confirmed case of highly infectious diseases. They are not expected to be necessary nor practical when a pandemic evolves.

Clean, impermeable head cover.
The impermeable head covers are intended to protect the head and neck, skin and hair from contamination. They are advised for;
- All healthcare workers coming in contact with blood, vomit, diarrhoea, or other body fluids of patients,
- People who handle contaminated waste material such as, for Ebola virus infections - cleaners and burial team members.
