There are currently no restrictions on border crossings related to mpox.

Public health authorities recommend against the implementation of travel restrictions.

Should any travel restrictions be announced, International SOS will issue an alert.

Enhanced screening measures

Several countries have implemented enhanced entry screening measures - including health declaration forms and temperature checks. Border authorities may identify people who appear sick, especially those with blisters or rashes, and require them to undergo more detailed health checks and testing.

International SOS advises all travellers to be aware of the entry requirements of their destination, and to not travel if unwell.
